ANSWER

The poem is about a child who is verbally & physically abused at home by his/her father and he/she in turn transfers this behavior by constantly bullying a girl at school the following day. Let us examine the poem for evidence.

Stanza 1 tells us that the victim avoids the persona in class “I see her in class, she avoids me”

Stanza 2 recounts the abuse at home which is mirrored at school “He hits me at home so I hit the dumb heifa”
